Burn Permits/Ban:
Currently there is not burn restrictions in place. Burning restrictions limit how, when, and where burning can take place. During Kentucky’s spring/fall wildfire hazard seasons, it is illegal to burn between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. in or within 150 feet of any woodland/brush-land, except when the ground is covered in snow.
EMS Student Ride Time:
We allow both EMT/Paramedic students to conduct ride time at our department. Please call the station to schedule time.
JR Firefighters/Internship:
We still hold JR Firefighters (Age 15-18) along with a fire department career development program (Internship) that pays for needed training/equipment such as EMT class or Fire School in exchange for time spent on duty at the station. Attached below is a Junior Firefighter application, please fill out and submit in person to the fire department.
